To help the construction industry cope with the difficulties of labour shortages, escalating construction costs, demanding programmes and quality assurance, Hip Hing has been keeping pace with the latest trends and adopting Modular Integrated Construction (MiC). Three of its recent projects, InnoCell for Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks and Hong Kong Government’s anti-epidemic quarantine facilities at Penny's Bay and Pat Heung have used MiC.

At Hip Hing, Building Information Modelling (BIM) is at the core of our operations. It is used to foster connectivity and collaboration, and ultimately to enhance the safety, productivity and sustainability of our operations and the AECO industry. We adopt the OpenBIM concept, as part of our strategy to unify the workflow of all project team members, from design through fabrication to construction. The well-managed common data environment, makes information accessible to all, facilitates interaction and communication, thus enabling informed decision making by connecting and  synchronizing all parties in the value chain.
